Nothing is hurried in the Dales. And that includes weddings. Your big day is our big day too.

We can provide for small intimate groups or large gatherings. There are many styles and types of wedding from the traditional to the contemporary, the formal to the informal and including same sex ceremonies. We're happy to accommodate them all.

We never take more than one wedding on one day. We'll leave the conveyor-belt approach to weddings to the large impersonal hotel groups. Your celebration will be co-ordinated by Sue, who will have worked with you on the minutest detail and who will be there to choreograph the behind-the-scenes arrangements so you can have an untroubled day.

One might think that a small country inn with nine individual en-suite bedrooms wouldn't be able to provide every service offered by a large hotel, but you'd be wrong. Every service and extra you can think of, and many of those you can't, is available with one very big difference. It's often outsourced to small traders in the local community, where everyone believes in providing service with a passion.

Whether it's additional accommodation above the nine bedrooms the inn provides, or hairdressers, photographers, horse drawn carriages or the 'good luck custom' of the visit by the local chimney sweep, you'll feel that a community is supporting your day and is proud of the opportunity of doing so.
