

Our food is one of our strengths. With ingredients sourced from local farms wherever possible you will truly enjoy a memorable meal of quality ingredients.
See Wedding Menu Selector. As you will see, you can choose a two to nine course meal or a buffet as simple as our finger buffet or as elaborate as our 'Ingleborough' buffet. These menus are for suggestion only, feel free to talk to us about any other menu ideas you may have.
Our suppliers include www.hellifieldhighlandbeef.co.uk, a rapidly growing fold of Highland Cattle which you might see grazing the fields surrounding nearby Hellifield. These ancient and hardy animals produce beef superior in both taste and nutrients, low in cholesterol and high in omega 3. Our pork products come from the free-range specialist breeds of the Blue Pig Company www.thebluepigcompany.co.uk of nearby Long Preston, whilst sausages are hand made by Jackson's of Cracoe. Your wedding guests might also enjoy Adrian Proctor's organic lamb, born and bred in the fields surrounding our village. Our vegetables are sourced whenever possible from local suppliers too, though this isn't always feasible.
Special diets
The Plough Inn is one of few establishments that can routinely provide a gluten-free menu and gluten-free beers and lagers (Most of our dishes are gluten-free). We'll be happy to provide an imaginative vegetarian, vegan or other special menu if that appeals.
Wine and Drinks Packages
We'll discuss with you whether you wish to provide wine on each table and/or at any evening event. We can also arrange for drinks taken at the bar to be charged to you should you wish.
Even the bar is individual
You can expect our bar to feature all the drinks familiar to you, but some with an unusual twist. Especially our gins. As well as the gin brands you will recognise, we'll tempt you with Rose Petal and Cucumber Gin, African Flavours Gin or many others. Beers include cask conditioned Yorkshire real ale.
